It is a great honor and privilege for me to serve as the President of the Bangladesh Gastroenterology Society (BGS). As we continue our journey to improve the science and practice of gastroenterology and liver care in Bangladesh, I warmly welcome you all and thank our members, partners, and well-wishers for their continued support.
BGS has always played a leading role in promoting medical education, clinical progress, and research in digestive health. As medical science moves forward quickly, our responsibilities also grow together. We are not only focused on providing the best care to patients but also on encouraging learning, teamwork, and innovation in our field.
Our mission is simple and clear: to improve the knowledge and skills of healthcare professionals through quality education, hands-on training, and national and international partnerships. We regularly organize conferences and workshops to share the latest developments. We are also committed to strengthening gastroenterology services across the country, making sure that modern treatments reach people everywhere.
As President, I see a future where BGS becomes a respected leader in gastroenterology and hepatology in the region. Let’s work together to build stronger connections between professionals, support meaningful research, and maintain the highest standards in our field.
